LOTUS CORTINA EVO
BACKGROUND
This car was originally built by Kevin Mansell at K double M racing services.
The vehicle has a Mk1 pre Aeroflow shell (2 door) fully restored, with a Sierra transmission tunnell for the gearbox, de-bumpered front with Aeroflow grille, custom made alluminium baffled fuel tank, Facet Silver top fuel pump, Filter King regulator, Varley Red Top gel type racing battery sited in the boot. Painted in Lotus colours.
The car is still evolving, including a planned set of Jenvey tapered throttle bodies, Drysump system and a fully adjustable Independent rear suspension.
We are often found at trackdays around the country, especially out local track Brands Hatch.
